Trippen was founded in 1991 by Angela Spieth and Michael Oehler, after they found some old wooden shoe Lasts in a factory and decided to try making shoes. Trippen designs are distinctly unique and modern, while still being incredibly comfortable. Strong values in environmental and social responsibility are a priority for the brand, employing an entire village in Germany and family businesses in Italy to make their shoes, and using recycled materials and mainly vegetable-tanned leathers.
